Denys Pylypiv
I come from Ohorodnyky, a small agro-town with just 300 people. Initially, I pursued dairy process engineering, but my path shifted when I decided to pursue choreography in Lviv. It was there that I discovered NWET. My spiritual journey and quest are detailed in my autobiography 'Search'.
(link provided for those interested here).
I was drawn to NWET because its platform resonated deeply with the self-development books I had been reading for six years. Participating in NWET's seminars brought together all that knowledge for me. I was impressed by the people who live out these ideas in their daily lives. In other words, NWET has not only solid philosophy and values, but also people who practice them through their lifestyle. That's why I joined NWET's one-year program five years ago. Today, I lead the Warsaw chapter, creating educational content and collaborating with individuals from around the world, including Americans, Koreans, and Poles.
Khrystia Derkach
I'm from the Carpathian and am currently a medical student.
I wanted to develop at the time when I met the platform. Now I see that this is something I want to invest in all my life. Now I am the leader of the educational center in Ukraine.
Nadia Rabosiuk
My name is Nadia. I live in the outskirts of Trakai, closer to Vilnius.
I have an incomplete higher education: I graduated as a veterinary assistant. My first job was in an interior design studio as a seamstress; later I had a summer job in a restaurant in the kitchen + I had to clean the rooms; I worked in a call center answering phones; for a while I cleaned offices in the evenings; I was a cashier in a pizzeria; I was a courier; I was an assistant in a clinic for a while; I was an English teacher. Plus, there was a lot of volunteering, from animals to the elderly.
At NWET, I was inspired by their emphasis on problem-solving rather than just dealing with consequences. This focus motivated me to stay and further develop my skills because I've witnessed positive outcomes in both personal growth and team dynamics across various levels.
Currently, I oversee activities involving our international students.
Yulia Shytova
Zhytomyr region, Ukraine (my village is on the map, but 99.999% you don't know it).
Red diploma in organization management, which is in the closet at home.
Head of the press department in the student parliament, I have my collection of poems from school.
Work experience—administrator for phone calls in a beauty salon, once on vacation I was a waiter, an employee of a children's playroom with attractions—a bit of everything.
Why NWET? Because I saw hope… In the dormitory, when the girls from my room went home, and I was alone, I often asked myself what I wanted from life, and who I was, what I should do, and what I should live for… I also didn't like reality at all, where people don't care what happens to you, where everything is blurred and mixed, and it's not clear where the truth is and where the fake is.
At NWET, I met a different reality—people who discuss ideals and values, and more importantly, embody them as much as they can; and also look problems in the eye at different levels from the root to the top: “You, Yulia, don't know how to listen to people…” I am grateful that someone once told me this, and that someone else told me that I am the subject of my life and that I can solve everything that hinders me.
NWET is really a space for personal development of young people that challenges personal limitations. And if you are brave enough to accept this challenge and step on the difficult path of inner growth and change, then your reward will not be far behind.
It's also about meeting new people, traveling to many places, volunteering, moral support 24/7, friends from different countries whom you love and miss, training to create a strong and happy family, a habit of constantly learning and analyzing yourself, achieving.
Sorry for the long text, thank you for reading, and see you at NWET.
Natasha Myronova
I'm from Pokrovsk (Donetsk region), I studied at Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade named after Mykhailo Tuhan-Baranovskyi (DonNUET) for 2 years, then entered NMU (National Mining University of Dnipro) because of the fighting in Donbas which began in 2014. I studied accounting and auditing. Likewise, I worked as an accountant in Dnipro.
Likewise, I joined the project because I liked the idea, had leisure time, and wanted to see more “healthy families”. Now I am the financial manager of our platform.
Ihor Mezienov
Tania Levun
I am from Kyiv. I have a degree in choreography. During my studies, I faced character limitations that made it difficult to achieve goals, communicate with people, and generally feel active every day. I realized that I needed to change, but I didn't know how or where to start.
The NWET platform had all the conditions for growth and change: like-minded people, support, goals, and challenges. Changes in character definitely lead to greater achievements and open up new opportunities for us.
Now I'm with NWET because I see the point in spreading the idea of character development and know that it really works. I am a mentor on the platform and help organize exchange programs for our students.
Maksym Kovalenko
Maksym Kovalenko
Вирішив приєднатись, бо була перспектива вести здоровий спосіб життя, отримати міжнародний досвід, високий рівень софт освіти, містичні навики, цікава філософія.
Why I stayed to develop the platform: my ambitions for my changes grew, I started to treat the community like a family, and I felt like a project owner.
Now I'm serving in the army.
Kristina Ponomaryova
I am a graduate of the Law Faculty in Kyiv. I was born in Khartsyzsk, Donetsk region. I joined NWET because I was interested in the idea of living for something bigger than myself. Currently, I am actively helping with exchange programs, as well as solving legal and financial issues.
Tania Turchenko
I'm from a small town called Novoukrainka (Kirovohrad region). I lived there for 17 years and moved to Dnipro to study. Furthermore, I am no longer a student. I completed 4 years of bachelor's degree, but did not continue. During high school, I played basketball and sang in the choir, and at university I studied vocals for a year.
I joined the NWET team in my second year of study. Why? I liked the activity there and was inspired by the fact that young people are constantly striving for something. I started participating in various programs. Why did you stay? Because the culture we create can create a new future. Now I am engaged in mentoring.
Yelisey Repetsky
I'm from Henichesk. I studied to be a filmmaker. Likewise, I have work experience in various fields, from creative to physical and office jobs. I wrote the music and studied a lot about psychology, philosophy, and spirituality.
Furthermore, I decided to join because I was looking for a platform where I could dig deep into personal development, relationship development, and the future in practice. Likewise, I am currently in a leadership program and mentor international students in the United States.
Maria Shulha
I am from Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region. I received a bachelor's degree in Chinese and English translation in Odesa.
During school, I went to many clubs and sections.
I got acquainted with NWET during my first year at the university in Odesa. I was interested in the topics raised here, so I decided to listen to the lectures. Likewise, I liked the logic of the lectures and the friendly atmosphere. At that time, I was already disappointed in university education, and life in the dormitory was not inspiring. The lifestyle of students there was terrible. So I devoted more and more time to NWET, and the whole vision of the platform inspired me. So I decided to join, and after a year, I stayed to develop the platform because I see a great future for it.
Currently, I have several responsibilities on the platform: educational activities, creation of educational materials, mentoring students, and part of the NWET annual team.
Svitlana Kostrytsia
From a small town in Zhytomyr. I traveled a lot in Ukraine, visited more than 10 cities and our Crimea. I hold a master's degree in finance and can teach in higher education.
Furthermore, I had a desire to move to another city, and I am grateful to the NWET platform for giving me the opportunity to develop internally. With NWET, I found answers to my inner questions, was able to become more confident, know what I want at this time, and help young people, find ways to realize myself as a mature person.
On the platform, I am engaged in mentoring and developing practical skills.
In my leisure time, I do embroidery to relax.
Vika Hleb
I am from Ivano-Frankivsk. I graduated from medical university and worked in the medical field.
Likewise, I stayed to develop the platform because I see the future in it.
Now I am engaged in mentoring.
Zhanna Pisotska
I'm from Chernihiv, graduated from Nizhyn Gogol State University, I'm a teacher of English and foreign literature.
I graduated from a music school with a degree in violin and piano.
Likewise, I joined because I liked the logic, consistency of education, and the people.
I stayed because I saw the results on a personal and organizational level, so I was inspired to continue. I also like the fact that no one else has such a fulfilling life as NWET (in my subjective opinion)
Tania Bulakh
I am from the city of Chernihiv (one of my favorite places on the planet).
After high school, I entered a medical university in Kyiv, but after two years I decided to leave because I didn't like many things about the university system and the atmosphere among young people and teachers. It was really difficult to study, there was a lot of stress, and I wasn't excited about medicine. Because of the stress, frustration, and uncertainty in my life, my best friend was alcohol and hookah. It was difficult to build relationships with other people, I had many fears, and there were no clear values that I would adhere to in my life. Because of this, I also managed to hurt the hearts of many people.
But over time, this changed because I met NWET.
I joined because I could not continue to destroy myself, I wanted to change internally, my lifestyle, and expand my worldview. And there were many like-minded people here, people whose values I liked, their lifestyle, thoughts, everything. People who were sincerely interested in you and supported you.
I stayed to develop the platform further because I want more young people to learn about this kind of education. And I believe that by practicing the principles of NWET life, we will be able to raise leaders who will be able to develop Ukraine in the future. We will also change the culture of corruption and selfishness to a culture of living for the sake of the country.
Now I am a mentor, captain, and content maker on the platform.
Ljuba Zamula
I am from Kharkiv (the best city in Ukraine). I study at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute as a software engineer. I am creating an app for self-development.
At NWET, I liked the people and the big and yet realistic plans for the development of Ukraine. Now I mentor students who have recently joined the platform and create content.
Anna Klymchuk
I'm from the Kyiv region; studied at a village school for 9 years and then in Kyiv for a year, but because of the coronavirus I switched to online learning and finished 11th grade that way.
I didn't have much work experience (I just sometimes gave online Korean lessons, which brought in some money). Likewise, I spent most of my time studying, playing with friends, organizing fun games with my siblings, and participating in and organizing various children's workshops. I also liked sports, so I went in for dancing and football (just a little). And I used to bake goodies at home.
I joined the team because I had a little experience doing something with NWET before. I realized that it made some sense (I would rather not live without thoughts, I wanted to do something that would contribute to the development of society, and the team was the place for that)
Why did I stay? Because I felt the progress in myself at every stage. Thanks to the analysis we do every week, I noticed that people are changing for the better, my understanding of the world is expanding, and my attitude towards many things (for example, my parents) has changed.
Now I am in Korea, learning the language and culture. I live in a foreign co-living and continue to educate young people.
Polina Berkun
You can just call me Ptashka, I'm from Kyiv, but I live… in different cities))
I studied food technology at State University of Trade and Economics and dreamed of opening a café, so I tried many restaurant professions during my university years. I could make coffee for you and run a restaurant. But then, faced with a downfall in my life, I felt that professional success was not enough, and went to yoga.
I joined NWET because I felt that I had “found my pack.” There were people in whom I saw the same desire to live with big ideas, to do something valuable for the world. I stayed because I want to be part of our team because our community has become my family. It was here that I found answers to questions that I had no answers to, and saw how I could really influence my life and the surrounding lives. Now I am actively involved in the educational platform, giving lectures, mentoring students, and volunteering. I want our country to have many initiative and active young people who can build a decent country.
Yelyzaveta Shyms
You can just call me Li :)
I am from Kropyvnytskyi (the very center of Ukraine). My childhood ended quite early, with smart books, a desire to be friends with “older” people, and my first job at 13, which turned into an opportunity to feel happy by achieving financial goals. And so, from a marketer at 13, I became the CEO of a small Ukrainian company in 1.5 years. I had a lot of experience: class head, work, courses—I learned everything too quickly. Although, I was slipping in my surrounding and relationships.
At some point, I lost the sense of it all, unfortunately, the courses did not teach me to understand myself. So I went to a psychologist, where I was in a pre-depressive state. Volunteering helped me to get out of this state, I was a cog in the Ukrainian Volunteer Service (I conducted more than 26 volunteering lessons for young people (more than 500 people)), and later I became a deputy in the youth parliament of my city and deputy head of the region. I became a little happier, but I started to catch myself thinking that it all just didn't make sense. Why are we treating the symptoms without looking at the roots? We can organize as many as 300 projects, but it makes no sense until the political system, educational system, and even the system of thinking changes.
At NWET, everything fell into place, and the puzzles in my heart were put together. I was fascinated by the love and people around me. For the first time in a long time, I felt that I had a lot to learn from all the co-leaders. Education helped me understand why everything in the world is happening this way, and daily practices gave me the opportunity to finally grow not only externally but also internally. To become a good person who can be trusted, who can open up, who can withstand a lot and not give up on the way (and I'm still on the way to becoming such a person)
From the very beginning of the platform, I started taking care of how it looked, the logo, and our corporate colors—it was my creation. So now, in addition to personal mentoring and the role of a lecturer, I am responsible for external communications on the platform. That's why all the content you see on the platform somehow touched me, or I touched it :) I never left the thought that it all makes no sense. We are treating the symptoms, but not addressing the root, not changing the system: political, educational, and even our own.
Danya Lobanov
I'm from Varash, I'm studying to become a programmer at Kyiv National University.
I joined the platform because I saw people with good values and lifestyle and wanted to adopt them. Now I'm taking a year-long program.
Anhelina Slepniova
I am a marketing specialist by education. I worked in this field for some time, but did not find myself in it.
Furthermore, I joined NWET in 2022 because I saw the value of this education and the opportunities for growth and development. Likewise, I also wanted to expand my social skills. On the platform, I am engaged in content, mentoring, and I especially like lecturing and working with international students.❤️
Daryna Chechko
I am from Kyiv, but I have been living abroad for more than two years. I had the experience of studying at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, at a French university, and now I am studying at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, majoring in ecology. Likewise, I had certain expectations for each of these universities, thinking that I would be successful thanks to cool teachers and the latest teaching methods. However, it was not so easy for me. So, since 2018 (for me, it was the 10th grade), I have been investigating how to realize myself and find a community of like-minded people somewhere outside of school. That's why I volunteered a lot. In 3 years, I have visited more than 30 different volunteer projects, including volunteering for the NGOs Ecodia and BUR. So it was only natural that I came across NWET, or rather, NWET-ers came across me :)
I have never stayed anywhere as long as I have in NWET: I have been familiar with the platform for almost three years, and I have been part of the educational team for a year now. How did this community hook me? Of course, the people. Not everyone can dare to change their lives to the point where they can live 24/7 for the public good. Even to sleep exactly as much as is necessary for normal life, and not more. And it's not because the captain said so, but because here you really want to analyze and improve yourself every day! I was struck to the core by how one idea can not only unite but change for the better so many young people, and not just Ukrainians. That's why I'm still here, learning to be a mentor for other young people, and still learning to love myself, people, and the world around me.
Vira Kikina
I am from Kyiv. After graduating from high school, I took a gap year and joined NWET.
I decided to join because I didn't know what I wanted from life, and I also wanted to have a strong character before going to study, to have clear principles and goals. Now I am doing a year-long program on the platform!
Marichka Shylinska
I'm from a small town called Berezhany in the Ternopil region. I've just finished school and took a gap year.
But I took the gap year to join the NWET summer program. I have always dreamed of being part of a community that does something meaningful for society. And I believe that I am very lucky to be part of it on the NWET platform! Here I broaden my horizons, gain international experience, gain leadership skills, and learn how to build teamwork through the organization of educational (and other) projects. I am also responsible for writing posts on our Instagram page.
The purpose and vision of the platform especially motivate me to invest in this activity.
Kinga Filippovych
My name is Kinga. I am from Warsaw, but I also have Slovak roots. After graduating from high school, I worked in a health food store and did volunteer projects in different countries.
I originally joined NWET to grow my character and build strong relationships with the surrounding community.
Now I am here because I want to develop our education in Poland. I would like to help raise the youth as well as my younger brothers and sisters.
I like that NWET finds solutions to fundamental problems in our society.
Nastia Kryvoltsevych
I am from Kharkiv. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Biology, and I love this science. Since school, I have been seriously interested in chemistry. After (and for a year before) graduation, I worked as a teacher's assistant.
I have always been fascinated by the patterns in nature and interested in the mysteries of the human brain. I was also concerned about world poverty, injustice, and people's irresponsibility in relation to relationships and nature. But I did not know what to do and did nothing (except for studying something for myself).
I was immediately interested in the NWET platform because it raises important (though unfortunately not very popular) topics. I found a circle of like-minded people and just interesting people who are committed to development. Likewise, I am glad that I found this platform as an opportunity to invest in the future of my country (and not only it) because we are making young people more conscious.
Now I have just joined the team. I'm starting to give lectures, develop my own educational materials, and contribute to social activities on the platform.
