Education beyond the standards: a new experience for young people

09 June 2025

In today's world, education is almost a holy word. We learn from childhood: at school, at university, on courses, on YouTube, in practice. But to be honest, does this training always provide answers to the main questions?

We know how to solve equations, write essays, make presentations. But we often don't know how to understand ourselves, find meaning, build relationships, understand why the world is the way it is, and how to change it for the better.

This is where the concept of holistic education appears — not just as a trend or a beautiful phrase, but as a real answer to the questions that modern youth ask themselves.

What is holistic education?

Holistic education is an approach that develops not only the intellect, but also the heart, character, inner ethics, vision of the future. It does not separate knowledge from life. It's not just a collection of facts, but learning that helps you become a whole person—one who understands yourself, your values, your relationships with others, and your goals.

Holistic education asks:

  • What is the meaning of human life?
  • Why does the world face such challenges as wars, crises, environmental disasters?
  • How can I make a difference in my community, family, country?
  • What does it mean to be a mature, responsible person?

These questions are not new. But we are rarely given the space to honestly think about them. And especially — together with others, in an open atmosphere of dialogue, not lectures and evaluations.

Youth and the search for meaning

Today, young people are smarter, more conscious, and more active than ever. But at the same time, they are as tired as ever, confused, sometimes despairing. War, social pressure, information overload, questions of identity, future, self-realization — all this creates internal chaos. And simple answers don't work anymore.

Young people are looking for:

  • authenticity,
  • depth,
  • space for dialogue,
  • understanding who they are
  • and most importantly, what they can do with who they are.

But there is simply no place for this in the regular education system.

Learning as an adventure. The experience of the 7-day seminar

That is why we organize a 7-day seminar for young people — a space where learning becomes not a compulsion, but a real discovery. Here you can not just listen, but ask questions, share thoughts, search for more in-depth answers together with others. We discuss important things — about the meaning of life and a person's place in the world, about why there are so many problems in it and where their deeper roots lie. We discuss how to restore trust, relationships, and justice — in ourselves, in our families, and in society. Furthermore, we consider what a person can be who can lead others, inspire, take responsibility. And, of course, we raise the topic of education — how to make it not only useful, but also alive and integral. After all, real education is not only knowledge, but also the development of the heart, character, and inner strength.

How do the participants feel?

The most common reaction after the workshop: “weren't we told this before?”

People say that in 7 days:

  • begin to understand themselves better,
  • rethink relationships with parents, friends, partners,
  • begin to see themselves as part of something bigger — society, history, even humanity,
  • feel aspired to take responsibility for their lives and for the surrounding changes.

This is not “motivational therapy” and it is not a religious sermon. It is an education that provides support, an inner core. And this is probably the main thing that we lack today.

Why is this important?

Because we live in a world where there is a lot of knowledge, but very little wisdom. Where we know how to launch missiles, but we don't always know how to build peace. We can create technology, but we often fail to create good, in-depth relationships. We have learned to mention leadership, but we have not yet understood that true leadership begins with inner maturity.

Holistic education is a way to go beyond the system and learn to live in such a way as to be a source of light for yourself and others.

Your invitation

This seminar is not just a calendar event. It is a chance to stop in the middle of the constant flow of things, stresses, expectations and social networks. This is a space where you can be yourself, without roles and masks, and finally ask yourself: Who am I? What do I really want? What is important in my life, and what is imposed from the outside?

If you are looking for answers, for yourself, for meaning, for inspiration, this seminar can become a point of support. If you feel that something inside is calling for a more profound understanding, this is precisely the moment when you should listen.

We do not promise easy solutions. There are no “magic formulas” here. But here there is a lively dialogue, honest conversations, significant topics, support, and people who are also looking. Together, we will ask the questions we often avoid. We will learn not only to listen to others, but also to truly hear ourselves.

And maybe something new will start from this.
Not a global revolution. And the internal shift. Rethinking. The inspiration to move on is no longer based on inertia, but consciously.

Because real changes never come from outside. They start from within. From you.
